Experience the unmatched thrill of the final frontier on our birding, nature & wildlife tours to Alaska & Canada.

Our small-yacht birding & nature cruises and land-based wildlife expeditions to Alaska encounter many iconic landscapes, including the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, the Gulf of Alaska, southeast Alaska’s Inside Passage, Prince William Sound and Kenai Fjords, and the cities and settlements of Anchorage, Seward, Nome, and Utqiagvik (Barrow). We look forward to returning to Denali National Park when the Denali Highway reopens in 2026! Special birds of Alaska include ptarmigans, jaegers, Barrow’s Goldeneye, Hudsonian Godwit, Bristle-thighed Curlew and Smith’s Longspur, Red-throated Loon, puffins, murrelets, cormorants, murres, and auklets. Memorable mammal sightings we look forward to include Alaskan Brown Bear fishing for salmon, massive bull Moose moving in velvet, Polar Bear feeding on whales, Bubble-feeding Humpback Whale and pods of Orca hunting seals. Snowy mountain vistas, Musk ox grazing on grassy tundra, calving glaciers and glistening icebergs are among the special landscapes that surround us there.

Our Canada birding and nature tours include two cruises, the Atlantic Island Odyssey that stops in four Northeastern Provinces: Sable Island, Cape Breton, Newfoundland, & the Magdalen Islands, and the High Arctic Explorer, which traces western Greenland and visits the Canadian High Arctic. Our land-based Canada wildlife tour, Birds, Bears & Belugas, celebrates summer at Hudson Bay, where some 60,000 Beluga Whales converge with Polar Bears near Churchill. Which northern adventure will you choose, The Land of the Midnight Sun or the Great White North? Alaska and Canada are waiting for you!
